I think Halo 3 will be a great game, however more on the graphics and less on the game play etc. It'll just be Halo with better picture, details, etc.. But it does have a fun multi player base, but I just haven't ever been obsessed with it like a lot of the folks out there.
Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill.. .complete obsessed with those games..

I loved the first Halo. It was ground breaking. There was just something about the second one that didn't sit well with me. The ending sucked. There weren't enough new enemies. I hated how you split time between the "master chief" and the "arbiter". I have high hopes for Halo 3.

yeah, Halo 2 was a huge let down from how big Halo was.
I loved the first one, it was sweet. 2nd one, was just another game.
Resistence for PS3 is sweet, 40 person mutliplayer free for all. It's nice. I would like to see Halo take some of it's features and put them in the game. Like real guns, I'm a fan of the futuristic guns, etc... but I like some real machine gun bullets flying around, etc.. one head shot you die, etc..

WOW, glad I'm not the only one that hated Halo 2.

I played Halo's multiplayer all the time .. Blood Gulch was the map to end all maps. Halo 2 came along and never felt the same. The gameplay seemed so different, and the graphics for some reason actually felt worse? I'm not sure, I just didn't "feel" the game. The single-player was very boring, too; but it was also pretty boring/repetitive in the first one.

Halo 2 was nothing more than a hype machine. The game was mediocre at best but diehard fans of the game went crazy over it and I have no clue how it scored so highly on so many sites/magazines - the first game was better by a longshot, despite the fact that it was severely lacking in terms of options in both single and multiplayer.

I myself have high hopes for Halo 3, but after the *SUPREME* letdown that was Perfect Dark Zero (possibly one of the worst first-person shooters I've played), I'm not going to hold my breath.

i didn't care a lot for the lost planet multiplayer. and the single player has the worst story ever. it makes no sense.

gears of war, rainbow six vegas, crackdown(co-op on xb live) and graw 2 are all better IMO, both in single player and multiplayer.
